Context for this position 
Although having been active for over 50 years as a specialized independent systems integrator for high end sampling and analyzer systems, 360°KAS can also be considered a ‘new’ company that has reinvented itself following a change of ownership in 2015. Thanks to a focused strategy we are now rapidly growing.
To support and sustain this growth we are looking for a results driven, resourceful and flexible Manager Operations to join our management team.

Role within the team
As a member of the Management Team you will be responsible for the full breadth of operational of 360°KAS including project management, engineering, procurement, construction and project administration for the full range of our portfolio: analyzer systems, (LNG) sampling systems, pilot plants and desuperheaters.
You will be an inspirational leader that further builds, develops and further strengthens our operational team. You will have strong analytical skills and be able to think and act strategically with a long term horizon without getting lost in the demanding ‘day-to-day’ hustle and bustle, but at the same time also demonstrate a pragmatic and ‘hands on’ attitude that is required in a dynamic, growing and changing organization.

Engineering Trust
Our clients are typically demanding international EPC’s and end users of refineries, chemical plants and R&D centers. Reliable, quality engineering and project delivery are essential to our clients’ and our success. You need to be able to leverage your experience, knowledge and insights whilst clearly understanding not only our own but also our client’s challenges, expectations and requirements.
360°KAS office, assembly and testing hall is currently located in Goes, but during 2018 we intend to move to the South Rotterdam area.

 

Your key roles & responsibilities

  • Lead and coach our operational team (currently ~ 15 persons).
  • Further strengthen and develop this team to support the business strategy (“Operational Excellence”) and enable accelerated growth of the business.
  • Assure all (operational) activities comply with required industrial and QHSE standards.
  • Implement and ensure continuous operational risk analysis and risk management.
  • Optimize and implement improved Project Control frameworks.
  • Manage project assurance: on time and within budget project delivery.
  • Manage procurement and subcontracting.
  • Manage operational short, mid and long term resource planning.
  • Manage various other operational matters such as QHSE, certifications, facilities and IT.

 

Your profile

  • Proactive, people manager, team player, enterprising and analytical.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in all key Project Management concepts, tools, techniques and their application.
  • Experienced with managing teams and people in an demanding and rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills; able to recognize when and where to zoom out (ensuring bigger long term picture) and zoom in (detailed problem solving in the short term).
  • Strong interest and ability to rapidly grasp and understand not only the concepts but also more detailed aspects of our product technology.
  • Strong commercial affinity, demonstrated ability to constructively negotiate with customers, partners, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Willing to travel abroad.
  • Most likely you will have a technical degree at a higher or academic level (electrotechnical or process technology preferred) but exceptional candidates with proven experience and without a similar degree will also be considered.
