Spotlight on Amatek 888 Analyzer

The 888 Analyzer Series from renowned manufacturer Amatek is engineered for precise, reliable measurement of hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) and sulphur dioxide (SO₂) in sulphur recovery tail gas applications.

Using ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, the 888 provides continuous, accurate monitoring to ensure optimal process performance. Features such as automatic flow control, a flange temperature alarm, and an extended ambient temperature range up to 60°C (140°F) set a new benchmark for reliability under demanding conditions.

Two configurations are available:

888 – Compact and robust, it mounts directly onto the process pipe, removing the complexity and safety concerns of fibre-optic systems.

888L – Designed for remote installations, featuring a demister probe at the sample tap and heated sample lines to maintain measurement accuracy.

Built with safety and serviceability in mind, the 888 analyzers offer double-block valve isolation, a web-enabled remote interface, and smart diagnostics for proactive maintenance.
