Spotlight on the Intermittent (CP/FP) LNG Sampling System

The 360°KAS Intermittent (CP/FP) LNG Sampling System delivers fully representative samples directly from the cryogenic LNG transfer pipeline. Using Constant Pressure, Floating Piston cylinders in accordance with ISO 8943 paragraph 4.3, the system ensures accurate custody‑transfer sampling while minimizing human error.

A CP/FP cylinder is divided by a floating piston: one side collects the vaporised LNG sample, while the other holds a controlled helium pre‑charge to maintain constant pressure and sample integrity.
