Successful FAT for chloride analyser at plastic recycling facility Botlek

Recently, we completed a successful Factory Acceptance Test at a plastic recycling facility in the Rotterdam Botlek area. We provided a solution for chloride analysis by designing a fully integrated analyser shelter with a special feature: 90° locking doors.

The shelter was engineered to maximise space efficiency while housing sample conditioning, power distribution, climate control and safeguarding. The 90° locking doors are specifically designed for this project to create a sheltered maintenance area.

In addition this shelter offers gas detection alarm, an exhaust system and louvred doors to ensure ventilation as the sample contains hydrogen sulphide (H₂S). To maintain an optimal working environment year-round, we installed both air conditioning and heating units.

With this custom-designed integrated analyser shelter we contribute to the circular economy and enable a cleaner future for plastic recycling.
