Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)

Introduction

CEMS means Continuous Emissions Monitoring System. It is an integrated system used for the continuous measurement of pollutants. Such as NOX (NO+NO2), CO, THC and Particulate Matter (PM). CEMS are most commonly located in the exhaust stack or vent of industrial plants. At the point where flow, pressure and temperature are measured in conjunction to determine emissions in pounds/hour or tons/year. CEMS are required to prove compliance to emission regulations to environmental control authorities.

360°KAS is highly experienced in designing integrated CEMS packages. Above all, we are well informed about the advantages and disadvantages of all available measurement principles and makes in the global market. Both for general purpose as well as for Ex application. CEMS package with FTIR CEMS and Dust Analysers

Early 2017, our cooperation with analyser manufacturer ABB for the Liwa Plastics Industries Complex (LPIC) Project was awarded with an order. The CB&I-CTCI joint venture ordered the CEMS package on account of our extensive experience. Also, our long track record in the design and supply of large analyser packages to major operators was an important element. Given that, the Joint Venture of CTCI Taiwan & CB&I Nederland B.V. decided to award this work to 360°KAS.
