Sindie Online Analyser for Continuous Sulfur Monitoring

Sindie Online is a process analyser designed for continuous sulfur detection in crude and fuel oil streams, developed by X-Ray Optical Systems (XOS). Using low‑energy, state‑of‑the‑art X‑ray technology, the analyser measures sulfur from sub‑ppm levels up to 3000 ppmw. Its unique Dynamic Window Module physically separates the sample from the X‑ray optics, ensuring stable, maintenance‑free operation and preventing contamination or build‑up on the windows.

The Sindie Online system offers reliable total sulfur measurement across a wide range of fuels and hydrocarbon streams, making it an important tool for quality control and for meeting increasingly strict environmental and regulatory standards.

360°KAS commissioned an XOS Sindie Total Sulfur analyser at the ecoMotion biodiesel plant in Malchin, Germany. The unit was calibrated on site and now provides continuous monitoring of sulfur levels, helping the plant meet EU climate protection requirements while avoiding time‑consuming laboratory analyses.
